Spectrum™ Chemical Hydrogen Peroxide Solution, 30 Percent, Reagent, ACS, is the simplest peroxide, a strong oxidizer that appears as a clear and slightly viscous liquid. Its oxidizing properties are so strong that it is considered a highly reactive oxygen species. Due to it being a weak acid it can form hydroperoxide or peroxide salts. One of its biggest uses is in the treatment of drinking water, removing odors, organic materials and the amount of Hydrogen sulfides and Iron. As an ACS grade Reagent, Spectrum Chemical manufactured Hydrogen Peroxide is used as the quality standard against which other substances are graded and has met the toughest regulatory standards for quality and pureness.
