Spectrum™ Chemical Hydrogen Peroxide Solution, Ultratrace, 30 Percent, ACS is the simplest peroxide, a strong oxidizer that appears as a clear and slightly viscous liquid. Its oxidizing properties are so strong that it is considered a highly reactive oxygen species. Due to it being a weak acid, it can form thermally unstable hydroperoxides. One of its biggest uses of Ultratrace grade hydrogen peroxide is for the determination of impurities in drinking and waste water like hydrogen sulfide, nitrogen oxides and BOD and COD levels. Spectrum Ultratrace grade products are purified by ultra-filtration and extremely low levels of impurities in parts per trillion levels.
