The iGD IFluor 647 is a fluorescent dye used for labeling proteins and nucleic acids. It has an excitation maximum of 652 nm and emission maximum of 668 nm. This dye is optimized for labeling antibodies and other proteins for applications like flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy, and fluorescence-based assays. It has high photostability and brightness. The iGD IFluor 647 dye is supplied as a lyophilized solid that should be reconstituted in anhydrous DMSO. Once reconstituted, it can label proteins via NHS ester and maleimide chemistries. This fluorescent label is suitable for detecting low abundance targets.
