Ferretonin is a safe alternative to surgery for hyperadrenal ferrets. It is a melatonin implant the size of a microchip that comes in a gas-sterilized, pre-loaded, disposable, implanting device. It is indicated for the treatment of adrenal disease in ferrets to promote hair re-growth, reduce aggressive/mating behavior, promote weight and muscle gain, eliminate itchy skin and odor problems, reduce urination difficulties and reduce swollen vulvas in females. Shelf life is 2 years and refrigeration not required, but the product must be keep out of direct UV light. 5.4 mg Implant: For use in ferrets weighing more than 1 lb. (600 grams)
