It has a positive rake angle of 5 degrees and accepts CCGT and CCMT style inserts. The toolholder body is made from steel and has an overall length of 5". It can be used for facing, turning, profiling, and grooving applications. The toolholder allows high feed rates and depth of cuts. It is designed for use on CNC lathes and screw machines.
