The Micro 100 Indexable Turning Toolholder 16R848 is a right-hand turning toolholder with a 16mm shank diameter. It has a clamping screw for securing the insert and accepts CNMG style carbide inserts with a .500" IC size. The toolholder is made from steel and has an overall length of 4". It can be used for turning, facing, profiling and grooving operations on lathes and CNC turning centers. The toolholder requires a boring bar-style toolholder to mount it in the machine turret or tool post. It is manufactured in the USA by Micro 100 Tool Corp.
