The Grainger website features indexable turning profiling toolholders for CNC lathes. These toolholders have a precision ground body to hold inserts for turning, facing, profiling and grooving operations. They are made from alloy steel or carbide and accept a variety of insert shapes including 80 degree diamond, 55 degree diamond, 35 degree diamond, and triangular. Toolholder sizes range from 0.5" to 1.5" and accept inserts with thicknesses between 0.08" and 0.25". The toolholders have a coolant-through option to deliver high pressure coolant to the cutting interface. Overall, these toolholders provide rigid, precise turning operations when paired with the proper insert.
