Indomethacin-d4 Methyl Ester is a deuterium-labeled form of Indomethacin, a potent, blood-brain permeable, and nonselective inhibitor of both COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. It demonstrates inhibitory activity with IC50s of 18 nM for human COX-1 and 26 nM for COX-2 in CHO cells. This compound has also been observed to disrupt autophagic flux by interfering with the normal function of lysosomes.
- Deuterium labeled derivative of indomethacin
- Potent and nonselective COX-1 and COX-2 inhibitor
- Blood-brain barrier permeable
- Disrupts autophagic flux through lysosomal interference
- Useful as a tracer or internal standard for quantitative analysis by NMR, GC-MS, or LC-MS
