Students can observe and measure how muscles contract.

  • Muscles are shipped in glycerol which extracts most of the water soluble material leaving muscle tissue that can be identified and studied using a microscope.
  • Muscle can also be stimulated to contract using the ATP chemical solution.
  • Contains enough materials for 15 groups.
  • DOT info: Nonregulated.
  • Important Notes: Chemicals must be refrigerated immediately. Muscles must also be refrigerated immediately and stored at -4°C until you are ready to use them.
  • Once refrigerated, muscle tissue has a shelf life of 4 months.
