Intact Genomics (IG™) Recombineering Chemically Competent Cells enable high-efficiency transformation for DNA, plasmid, and BAC engineering, and homologous recombination. Derived from SW102 (a DH10B background strain), they feature a defective lambda prophage and a galK deletion for efficient DNA/BAC modification via galK positive/negative selection. The cells are tetracycline resistant (5 μg/mL).
