IG Recombineering Electrocompetent Cells provide high-efficiency transformation for DNA, plasmid, BAC engineering, and homologous recombination. These cells are derived from SW102, feature a 10B [λcI857 ind1 (cro-bioA<>tet)] background, and include a gal operon with a galK deletion for efficient DNA/BAC modification. They are tetracycline resistant (5 μg/mL).
- High-efficiency transformation for DNA, plasmid, BAC engineering, and homologous recombination.
- SW102 derivative with a 10B background and defective lambda prophage.
- Functional gal operon with galK deletion for DNA/BAC modification via positive/negative selection.
- Heat-inducible prophage with red genes (exo, bet, gam) under pL control, repressed at 32°C, induced at 42°C.
- Tetracycline resistant (TetR) due to cro-bioA region replacement (5μg/mL).
