- Engineered to include attR sites for quick and efficient recombination with Gateway entry clone
- Gene of interest is recombined from entry clone into BaculoDirect Linear DNA using simple, one-hour LR reaction
- Resulting reaction mix contains recombinant baculovirus carrying gene of interest and is used directly to transfect insect cells
- Eliminates need for transforming bacteria and isolating large bacmid or co-transfection of transfer vector and linear baculovirus DNA into insect cells togreatly reduce hands-on time
- Purified baculovirus can be isolated in less than one week
- Gateway Linear DNA: Designed for rapid cloning with Gateway entry clone and subsequent expression in Sf9 or Sf21 insect cells
- Strong polyhedrin promoter for high-level expression
