Fast Red is a widely used chromogen for immunohistochemical staining. Biocare intelliPATH Warp Red is an advanced formulation of Fast Red that accelerates and intensifies staining. When in the presence of alkaline phosphatase (AP) enzyme, intelliPATH Warp Red produces a bright fuchsin-red precipitate that is insoluble in organic solvents and can be coverslipped with a permanent mounting media. Typically, intelliPATH Warp Red achieves staining intensity in 5-7 minutes that is equal to the staining observed in 15-20 minutes with the intelliPATH Fast Red formulation. If more intense staining is desired, intelliPATH Warp Red can be extended to 10 minutes, offering users increased flexibility and sensitivity. intelliPATH Warp Red is specially formulated for use on an intelliPATH automated stainer. intelliPATH Warp Red is particularly well-suited for automated Multiplex IHC staining applications.
