Isocurcumenol is an estrogen receptor alpha (ERα) inhibitor isolated from Curcuma zedoaria Rhizomes. It possesses anti-tumor activity, with IC50 values of 99.1 μg/mL and 178.2 μg/mL in DLA and KB cells, respectively. In vitro, Isocurcumenol dose-dependently inhibits cancer cell proliferation and does not exhibit significant toxicity on normal chicken embryo fibroblast cells and lymphocytes.
