Isohelix buccal swabs are specifically designed for collecting increased yields of high quality buccal cell and genomic DNA and all species of RNA. The mini swabs have a reduced swab head size of 6mm in width, compared to the 8mm standard Isohelix swabs. This makes them ideal for sample collection in small mammals, invertebrates and other animals. Mini swabs include a breakpoint to quickly snap the swab head off the shaft. The breakpoint is lower than the SK swabs, allowing the mini swabs to be stored in smaller tubes. The MS-02 swabs are wrapped individually without collection tubes.
