It is a selective Cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) inhibitor. Reduces expression of COX-2, IL-6, 5-lipoxygenase (5-LO), and TNF-alpha in RAW 264.7 cells. It also has shown to regulate lipid metabolism.
