Due to the trace concentration of water the purity of 99.9% renders it anhydrous. The solvents used for semiconductor and electronics manufacturing are commonly known as semiconductor grade solvents because they constitute metallic concentrations in parts per billion or trillion range. Isopropyl Alcohol Electronic Grade / Semiconductor Grade 99.9% available at Lab Alley is obtained through several purification stages and can be safely used as cleansers and etchants in semiconductor or microprocessor production.
