KG-1 is a lymphoblast-like cell that was isolated from the bone marrow of a 59-year-old, White male with acute myelogenous leukemia. The cell can be used in immune system disorders and immunology research. This cell produces high levels of human leukocyte interferon upon induction by paramyxoviridae species.
