KIMBLE™ KIMAX™ Babcock Bottles for Milk Testing are designed for butterfat content testing per APHA 15.8 or AOAC 989.04. Made from USP Type I borosilicate glass with a permanent etched vertical line and brown-stained graduations for accurate, direct reading.

8% Bottle with Sealed 3 marking

• Designed for butterfat content testing to 8% per APHA 15.8 or AOAC 989.04 test procedures
• Graduations marked with permanent brown stain for clear, direct reading of percent butterfat
• Etched vertical line centered in a contrasting darkened band for easier visualization and caliper anchoring
• Neck graduated to 8% in 0.1% subdivisions; tolerance: ±0.1%
• Marked with Sealed 3 for use in states requiring this marking
• Manufactured from 33-expansion, low-extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
