Description

KIMBLE™ KIMAX™ Caps for Media Bottles are available in black phenolic or polypropylene construction with 33-430 or 38-430 GPI finishes. Phenolic caps feature plain or PTFE-faced 14B rubber liners; polypropylene caps offer bonded PTFE-faced silicone liners.

  • Available in black phenolic or black polypropylene construction
  • Phenolic caps supplied with plain 14B white rubber liners or PTFE-faced 14B white rubber liners
  • PTFE-faced rubber liners are highly resistant to chemical effects
  • Phenolic resin and liner adhesive formulated to withstand repeated autoclaving
  • Polypropylene caps feature bonded PTFE-faced silicone welded (Microlink) liners to eliminate glue contamination and loose liners
  • Available in 33-430 and 38-430 GPI thread finishes for compatibility with standard media and storage bottles
  • Identified in ASTM Specification E982, Class A requirements (phenolic caps)
