KIMBLE™ KONTES™ Straight without Tip-O-Ring PTFE Plug HI-VAC Valves are designed for vacuum applications up to 5 x 10−7 Torr, featuring a precision external thread, non-rotating PTFE shaft, and FKM o-ring primary seal on a tapered seat.

  • Designed for vacuum applications up to 5 x 10-7 Torr
  • Precision external thread for fine control
  • Non-rotating PTFE shaft with primary seal made with FKM o-ring on tapered seat
  • Full open position at 1-1/2 turns; can be used as a bleed valve at up to 1/2 turn
  • PTFE shaft rated for continuous use at 230°C or intermittent use at 275°C
  • Manufactured from 33 expansion, low extractable borosilicate glass conforming to USP Type I and ASTM E438, Type I, Class A requirements
