KW-8232 is an orally active anti-osteoporotic small molecule that reduces prostaglandin E2 (PGE2) biosynthesis and decreases markers of bone resorption. In animal models it increases femoral bone mineral density and lowers urinary calcium and collagen crosslinks. Supplied as a solid or as a pre-made DMSO solution for in vitro use.
