L-165,041 is a small molecule agonist of the phenyloxyacetate PPAR-delta receptor PPARδ (Ki=6 nM), >100-fold selective vs other PPAR receptors. Has neuroprotective properties in cerebral infarction and Parkinson's disease. It is less potent and selective than GW 501516, another PPARδ inhibitor. Provided as 10 mg of dry powder. These highly purified, pre-validated control ligands have been used to qualify our InCELL Hunter, PathHunter and cAMP Hunter cell lines as well as our Assay Ready Kits.
