- Selectively inhibits Cav 3.2 channels with an IC50 of 6.5 μM.
- Enhances collagen deposition.
- Inhibits elastogenesis.
- Exhibits anti-cancer effects by generating reactive oxygen species (ROS) and selectively damaging cancer cells.
- Produces hypoglycaemic activity in normal and diabetic conditions when combined with Tolbutamide.
- Action of Tolbutamide shows early onset and is maintained for a longer period in the presence of L-ascorbic acid.
