Miller’s LB is a highly-referenced microbial growth medium used for the cultivation of E. coli. It is used with recombinant strains of E.coli containing plasmids with the resistance gene to Ampicillin (bla or ampR) such as pBluescript, pGEM, or the pUC series of plasmids.

This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand.
