What is the protocol to use the Lead, Quant Test Strips?
We recommend the following protocol to use the Lead, Quant Test Strips:
- Take one strip from the container and immediately close the container.
- Dip the strip into the test solution to wet the reaction zone and remove excess liquid by shaking the test strip or drawing it across the edge of the vessel.
- Allow the reaction to proceed for ≤1 minute. Do not exceed 1 minute for the reaction time.
- Compare the color of the reaction zone on the strip with the color scale printed on the tube to determine the concentration of lead.
