PELORIS Parablocks are pre-formed blocks of paraffin that are provided in plastic molds. The preformed blocks fit easily into the paraffin chamber of the PELORIS Tissue Processor and will melt faster than pellets or flakes. Once the chamber is filled with the solid paraffin blocks, there is no need for the technician to return later to determine the paraffin volume and add additional paraffin. Reduced risks since solid blocks eliminate pellet spills and the need to transfer molten paraffin.
