It has antinociceptive and antitumoral activities and is used in many products like food additives, cosmetics, and perfumes.(+)-Limonene oxide (mixture of cis and trans) undergoes biocatalytic resolution in the presence of epoxide hydrolase to form enantiomerically pure cis- and trans-limonene oxides.
