Lipo3K Transfection Reagent is a cationic liposome-based transfection reagent widely used for cellular transfection It facilitates transfection of various cell types (adherent or suspension cultures) with DNA or RNA (such as siRNA/mRNA) This reagent shows higher transfection efficiency and lower cytotoxicity Transfection efficiency can be improved by 2-10 fold over Lipo2K capable for applicaiton of difficult-to-transfect cells Due to its lower cytotoxicity it doesn t need to change culture medium after transfection For optimal transfection outcomes it is recommended to use serum-containing but antibiotic-free medium during transfection This reagent kit contains a transfection enhancer reagent (Lipo3K-A Reagent) designed to facilitate nuclear entry of plasmid DNA and significantly increase transfection efficiency The enhancer reagent is not required when performing siRNA transfection Lipo3K is suitable for co-transfections of multiple plasmids or plasmids and siRNA as well
