Lithium Dodecyl Sulfate (LDS) is a surfactant reagent commonly used for protein solubilization in biochemical and biophysical applications. The 100-gram volume of LDS is ideal for preparing solutions for SDS-PAGE and other protein analysis techniques. LDS functions similarly to sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS), but with improved protein solubilization properties due to its unique lithium-based structure.
