LLO (91-99) is an exotoxin and a class I MHC-restricted T-cell epitope of listeriolysin (LLO). It is processed by antigen-presenting cells, binds to MHC class I molecules, and is presented to the cell surface. It induces CTL responses and effectively eliminates Listeria from infected cells. It can be used in the research of Listeria infections (e.g., listeriosis).
- Induces cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) responses
- Effectively eliminates Listeria from infected cells
- Suitable for research on Listeria infections like listeriosis
- Pulsed dendritic cells show high protection efficiency against listeriosis
- Induces strong CD8+ T cell responses with IFN-γ production
- Loaded DCs protect C57BL/6 mice against Listeria monocytogenes infection
- Reduces liver granulomatous lesions
