The Malin Company Lockwire is a 0.032 inch diameter stainless steel lockwire used to prevent loosening of threaded fasteners. It comes in a 225 foot roll and is made in the USA. The lockwire creates an inexpensive locking device by threading through bolt heads or fastener heads to prevent counter rotation. It can withstand temperatures up to 1000°F. The lockwire meets QQ-W-406 and AMS-W-6845 specifications.
