Do pendulum experiments quantitatively using your LogIT LIVE or DataMeter 1000

This kit makes it easy to do simple harmonic motion and pendulum experiments quickly and quantitatively using the LogIT LIVE or Datameter 1000 systems. Simply insert the specially designed pendulum shaft into the LogIT angular position sensor that comes in the kit, tighten, mount on ring stand with a standard buret clamp, and connect to your LogIT computer interface using the sensor extension cable provi-ded with the kit. The brass pendulum weight is cross-drilled for a knurled nylon screw so that it may be affixed in place without damaging the aluminum pendulum shaft. The kit consists of an 11-3/4 in. long aluminum rod fitted with an adjustable brass weight, angular position sensor, and a sensor extension cable.
