Description

Designed for low density, serum-free growth of Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cells. BioWhittaker™ Ham's F-12 Medium has been used for carcinoma cells, rat skeletal myoblasts, Chinese hamster lung cells and rat, chicken and rabbit embryos.

  • Nutrient mixture designed to cultivate a wide variety of mammalian and hybridoma cells when used with serum in combination with hormones and transferrin
    • F-12 medium is based on Ham’s F-10 medium with increased concentrations of choline, inositol, putrescine and many amino acids
    • Manufactured in accordance with cGMP regulations
    • Formulations used for standard liquid media products are those recommended by the Tissue Culture Association
