Loxicom is a prescription liquid medication for dogs that contains meloxicam. Meloxicam is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is commonly used for the relief of pain and inflammation in the joints caused by arthritis. If your dog has been diagnosed with osteoarthritis or suffers from joint pain, your veterinarian may prescribe an NSAID such as Loxicom to reduce the symptoms.
