Lyo-Ready DNA qPCR Stool is a glycerol-free, high-concentration, ready-to-use qPCR formulation engineered with a proprietary buffer system designed for overcoming inhibitors found in stool. It allows accurate target amplification direct from stool samples and can be used in multiplex assays that require minimal sample processing and fast turn-around times without compromising sensitivity, for low copy number samples. It also increase reproducibility in extracted samples, as extraction methods are not always 100% efficient, often resulting in loss of target nucleic acid and potential co-purification of stool PCR inhibitors, such as bile, that can interfere with amplification, leading to false-negative results. It is ideal for room temperature, lyophilized, singleplex and multiplex qPCR assays and is suited for high-throughput, automated platforms.
