MP Biomedicals™ Lysis Matrix S Tubes are for extractions of nucleic acids, proteins, metabolites and other small molecules from tough, hard or brittle cell membranes including organisms with tough or dense exterior matrix

  • Each impact-resistant 2mL tube contains 3.175mm (0.125 in.) diameter stainless steel beads
  • Use to break hard/brittle samples
  • Specialty applications include RNA and protein extraction from difficult samples where lysis by impaction only is preferable with minimal amounts of mechanical shearing
