The Vector Mouse-On-Mouse (M.O.M.) Fluorescein Immunodetection Kit enables the use of mouse primary antibodies on mouse tissue. An anti-mouse secondary antibody is unable to distinguish between primary antibodies produced in mice and endogenous mouse immunoglobulins present in mouse tissue. This results in high background staining, which obscures the target-specific staining. The Vector M.O.M. Kit eliminates this problem to produce clear, crisp specific staining of the antigens of interest. The kit is based on the simple and easy to follow VECTASTAIN ABC reagent protocols; no tedious calculations or antibody pre-binding steps are required. Each kit contains a proprietary Mouse IgG Blocking Reagent, M.O.M. Biotinylated Anti-Mouse Ig Reagent, and Fluorescein Avidin DCS, and contains sufficient reagents to stain 125–250 tissue sections.
