This click chemistry reagent contains an Azide group, allowing it to participate in copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reactions (CuAAc) with Alkyne groups. It can also undergo strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) reactions with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. PROTACs utilize the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system to selectively degrade target proteins.
