The 145-2C11 monoclonal antibody targets mouse CD3, a 20 kDa transmembrane cell-surface protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily, expressed on T lymphocytes, NK-T cells, and developing thymocytes. It plays a role in TCR signaling, T lymphocyte activation, and antigen recognition, inducing activation, proliferation, and apoptosis by binding and stimulating the TCR.
