This monoclonal antibody, clone 3D10, targets mouse T cell immunoglobulin and mucin domain 1 (TIM-1), also known as CD365. TIM-1, a type I cell-surface glycoprotein within the Ig superfamily, is predominantly expressed on TH2 cells and acts as a stimulatory molecule for T cell activation. It plays crucial roles in regulating immune responses to viral infections, allergic reactions, asthma, and transplant tolerance. This antibody has been shown to block TIM-1 in vivo and enhance atherosclerosis in mice studies.
