The CB.219 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD2, a 45-58 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein. CD2 acts as an adhesion receptor, binding to CD58 to activate CD2-positive T cells and NK cells. This antibody interacts with the N-terminal CD58-binding region of CD2.
