This polyclonal llama IgG is purified from normal llama serum. Camelids produce heavy chain-only antibodies (HCAbs), which lack a light chain. Llama IgG2 and IgG3 are HCAbs, while IgG1 is a conventional IgG. Protein G purification primarily yields IgG1 and IgG3.
