For use as a screening medium for the selective isolation of ciprofloxacin-resistant E. coli and other gram-negative rods from clinical samples.

  • Especially useful for screening rectal swab specimens prior to prostate gland biopsy
    • Our media will allow urologists to screen the men first to see if they will be at risk of a difficult to treat infection or septicemia
  • Recommended to be used with a broth enrichment step using BHI
