The MagSi-DNA Trial Kit includes 2ml of each of the 8 types of MagSi-DNA magnetic beads for nucleic acid isolation and purification. The beads in this trial kit include both silica and carboxylated surfaces, pore sizes of 300nm, 600nm, 1.2um and 3um, and ferromagnetic options. With the variety of different properties of the beads in this kit, the user can determine which beads are ideal for the application. MagSi-DNA beads are intended as a solid phase extraction tool for custom buffer systems based on chaotropic and non-chaotropic binding principles. They have a high binding capacity for nucleic acids and are well-suited for developing your own nucleic acid isolation methods. As no columns or centrifugation steps are required, MagSi-DNA beads are ideal for high-throughput and automated applications.
