Description
It is used as a source of manganese in biological research, in the production of dry cell batteries, and precursor to the antiknock compound. It is used in industrial applications such as dyeing disinfecting, the purification of natural gas, and as a drying agent for linseed oil. It is used in pigment manufacturing, fertilizers and in construction materials and also used in aluminum smelting.
