• This kit is commonly used to stain for primary, secondary, myeloma-associated, or tumor-associated amyloidosis
• Alkaline Congo Red Solution serves as the primary stain, producing pink to red amyloid deposits with blue nuclei counterstained by Hematoxylin
• 100 mL Stain Kit yields between 36 and 45 slides and slide yields assume maximum slides stained per run, maximum runs per use - Actual Slide Yields may vary
• 100 mL Kit Consists of Alkaline Congo Red Solution pint, Alkaline Alcohol Solution pint, Modified Mayers Hematoxylin 100 mL, Sodium Hydroxide Solution 30 mL
