StatLab MasterTech Brown and Brenn Modified Stain Kit - stains for gram positive and gram negative bacteria in just 10 minutes

  • The MasterTech Brown and Brenn Stain Kit is less hazardous than similar kits due to a specially formulated Advanced Picric Acid/Acetone
  • Safranin O and Hucker's Gentian Violet both serve as primary stains producing blue stained gram positive bacteria along with red gram negative bacteria and nuclei, while the Advanced Picric Acid/Acetone provides a yellow counterstain
  • Pint Stain Kit yields between 144 to 225 slides, actual slide yields may vary
  • Pint Kit Consists of Gentian Violet pint, 1% Safranin O pint, Universal Iodine Solution pint, ADVANCED Picric Acid/Acetone pint, and Grams Decolorizer pint
  • Kit is sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance
  • All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15°C and 30°C
