Description

StatLab MasterTech Hall's Bile Stain Kit - Stains for bile or bilirubin in less than 15 minutes

  • Oxidization of the bile with Fouchets Reagent provides the primary stain producing green bile or bilirubin with pink to red collagen and a tan to yellow background of muscle and cell cytoplasm and counterstained by Van Gieson's
  • 100 mL Stain Kit yields between 80 and 100 slides and consists of - Fouchets Reagent 100 mL and Van Giesons Stain 100 mL
  • All kit components are available for purchase individually and the kit is sealed with a tamper-evident label for quality assurance
  • All kit components should be stored in a dry environment between 15°C and 30°C
  • Please review all component labels to ensure correct storage temperature
  • StatLab recommends using a Bile Control Slide
