  • 3% Acetic Acid is a component for the following MasterTech Stain Kits: Alcian Blue pH1.0 Stain Kit, Alcian Blue pH2.5 Stain Kit, and the Russell-Movat Pentachrome Stain Kit
  • Used for staining both sulfated and carboxylated acid mucopolysaccharides and glycoproteins and removing excess blue and revealing different tissue elements.
  • Assists with demonstrating the presence of microorganisms in all types of tissues
  • For preserving nuclei but lysing red blood cells
